[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Lotte Homeshopping announced on the 4th that it won the comprehensive grand prize for 6 consecutive years at the 2021 Korea Service Awards hosted by the Korea Standards Association, and ranked first in the TV homeshopping category for 2 consecutive years in the Korea Service Quality Index (KS-SQI) evaluation.
The 2021 Korea Service Awards ceremony was held on the 2nd at Lotte Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul. The Korea Service Awards is a service management evaluation system that adapts the evaluation criteria of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award of the United States to the domestic service industry. It comprehensively evaluates CEO leadership, corporate social responsibility, mid- to long-term strategies, employee welfare, and management performance. Lotte Homeshopping explained that it received excellent evaluations for its leap into a media commerce company through digital transformation, leading ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management to fulfill social responsibility, and customer service utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) and big data, winning the comprehensive grand prize for 6 consecutive years.
Earlier, on the 1st, Lotte Homeshopping also won first place in the TV homeshopping category for 2 consecutive years at the KS-SQI certification ceremony held at Lotte Hotel. KS-SQI is a comprehensive indicator representing the quality level of the service industry jointly developed by the Korea Standards Association and Seoul National University Business Research Institute. It scientifically measures and evaluates service quality levels and selects companies that have contributed to the development of industrial society through customer-oriented service management. Lotte Homeshopping said it received the highest scores among homeshopping companies in four evaluation categories: service convenience, expertise, friendliness, and proactiveness. It explained that the 'Smart Contact Center,' which resolves orders and consultations in a one-stop manner through various service channels, and innovative customer services utilizing digital technology received favorable evaluations.
