[Photo] Mapo-gu Conducts Campaign to Comply with Quarantine Guidelines on Hongdae Street
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Mapo-gu (Mayor Yoo Dong-gyun) conducted a campaign on the 2nd from 9:30 PM in front of KT&G Sangsangmadang in Hongdae, with about 100 participants including the Hongtong Street Merchants Association and public officials, visiting nearby restaurants, parks, and alleys to encourage compliance with COVID-19 prevention guidelines.
This measure was taken in response to the recent occurrence of multiple confirmed cases at businesses around Hongdae, aiming to raise awareness of COVID-19 among business owners and visitors and to urge voluntary adherence to prevention rules.

Meanwhile, in line with Seoul City's special quarantine measures period, from July 1 to 14, for two weeks, the district has organized daily inspection teams of 60 staff members, conducting special quarantine activities targeting businesses in the Hongdae area from 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM.
