Jaeyoon Kim, a researcher at KTB Investment & Securities, said, "The modular rental business starting in the second half of this year will become full-scale from next year," adding, "According to the Green Smart Future School policy, part of the Green New Deal policy, improvements will be made to aging school building facilities that are over 40 years old starting next year." He continued, "It is expected that new demand for rental classroom modules will arise at about 300 schools annually until 2025."
He said, "In addition to the Green Smart Future School policy, the modular market will expand in terms of resolving overcrowded class issues," adding, "Modular units are products that replace existing temporary container classrooms and have advantages in terms of environment, performance, and construction period.
