"Preparing for Post-Corona: New Hotels Opening One After Another This Month"

◆Targeting 'Business + Hokangseu'
Parnas Hotel opened the 'Nine Tree Premier Hotel Seoul Pangyo' on the 1st in the 'Pangyo Advanced Technovalley' in Gyeonggi Province. This 11-story hotel is a 4-star hotel consisting of a total of 315 rooms, banquet halls, and restaurants. Although it is a business hotel, it features five swimming pools?the largest scale among hotels of the same class?including a family pool, kids pool, and play pool on the top floor, covering an area of 680㎡ (206 pyeong). Considering ventilation issues that have become sensitive after COVID-19, all rooms have windows that can be opened. The hotel explained, "We have prepared more than 30 rooms with Hollywood beds that can be flexibly used as business or rest types depending on customer characteristics and number of people," adding, "There are also triple rooms for three guests and family kids rooms equipped with bunk beds for children."
On the 15th, the 'Hilton Garden Inn Seoul Gangnam' will open in Gangnam, Seoul. This hotel, with 208 rooms, a restaurant, bar, meeting rooms, rooftop swimming pool, fitness center, and 24-hour convenience facilities, features that more than 40% of the rooms are family types larger than typical hotel rooms.

Hanwha Hotels & Resorts opened 'Breed by Mati?' in Yangyang, Gangwon Province, targeting surfers nationwide who visit Jukdo Beach and Ingok Beach. The hotel has a total floor area of 9,238.54㎡, with 2 basement floors and 7 above-ground floors, and a total of 56 rooms. Catering to the preferences of surfing customers, it offers seven types: laid-back, rise-up, hang ten (penthouse), etc. The accommodation capacity varies from 4 to 8 people. It also features the famous surfing shop 'Surfcode.' It is the first in the Gangwon region to install Porsche electric vehicle charging facilities. The hotel plans to operate various marine sports contents in the future.
Moon Seok, CEO of Hanwha Hotels & Resorts, said, "We opened the Breed hotel with a surfing & healing concept that did not exist before to provide customers not only rest but also diverse and unique experiences," adding, "We will introduce distinctive new brands in line with rapidly changing customer demands and travel and leisure trends in the post-COVID era."
