Emart Launches 'E-Word' Cashback Promotion... "Gathering the Most Popular Product Categories Ever"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Emart announced on the 1st that it will recruit a limited number of customers on a first-come, first-served basis to participate in the 10th round of the cashback promotion 'E-Word' until August 25. E-Word is Emart's exclusive cashback promotion that has been running since 2019. When customers shop at Emart with the event card for the agreed monthly amount, they can receive a full refund of the monthly installment for the E-Word subscription product.
Emart prepared the 10th E-Word event by gathering product categories that ranked high in sales in previous E-Word promotions. Popular premium home appliances such as the four Samsung Bespoke models (dryer, washing machine, vacuum cleaner, window-type air conditioner) are featured as event products, along with large TVs, laptops, and a total of eight product types with about 2,000 units available. The representative products, Samsung Bespoke Grande AI Drum Washing Machine and Samsung Bespoke Grande AI Dryer, have a shopping commitment of 350,000 KRW per month for 35 months, with an estimated monthly installment of 42,571 KRW each. The Samsung Bespoke Window-Type Air Conditioner is available with a 350,000 KRW monthly commitment for 25 months, with an estimated monthly installment of 33,960 KRW.
This event is conducted using Samsung Card, and Emart will fully support the monthly installment payment for the first month of subscription regardless of whether the shopping commitment is met. Afterwards, if customers shop with the designated card for the agreed amount from the 1st to the end of each month at Emart and Electromart stores nationwide, the monthly installment for the product will be deducted from the Samsung Card payment.
