Jinju City Wins 'Best Booth Award' at 2021 Seoul International Tourism Fair
Participation with Innovative and Creative Ideas Confirms Excellence in Tourism Marketing Field
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Jinju City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 30th that it won the ‘Best Booth Operation Award’ among a total of 292 participating organizations at the 2021 Seoul International Tourism Expo held at COEX, Seoul, from the 24th to the 27th.
The city stood out at the Seoul International Tourism Expo for its proactive operation of the expo promotional hall and promotion efforts that imprinted the region’s unique brand, winning the Best Booth Operation Award.
The city attracted great attention as a promotional booth where visitors stayed for a long time by operating innovative ideas and diverse programs such as free craft experiences (making pressed flower hand mirrors) for visitors, joint promotional hall operation with Jinju and Sancheong, and prize giveaways through SNS events.
In addition, the booth background featured the exhibition scene of the ‘Hamo’ character, a public art exhibit at Kumhoji Lake that has recently gained popularity, promoting Jinju’s beautiful scenery and the Hamo character. They also held a raffle event for Hamo plush dolls, encouraging visitor participation and receiving great responses.
