Lee Jeong-ja Appointed as the 12th Chief of Gwangju Nambu Fire Station
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Lee Jeongja will be inaugurated as the 12th Chief of Gwangju Nambu Fire Station.
According to Nambu Fire Station on the 30th, the new chief began his career as a firefighter in 1986 and has served in various positions including Head of the Fire School Education Planning Team, Head of the Prevention and Safety Division at Nambu Fire Station, and Fire Policy Division at the Central Fire Headquarters of the Ministry of Public Safety and Security.
He was promoted to Fire Commissioner on July 1st last year and devoted himself to responding to COVID-19 as the Head of the Rescue and Emergency Medical Services Division at the Gwangju Fire Safety Headquarters.
He is highly regarded for greatly contributing to the development of fire administration in Gwangju based on his extensive knowledge and experience, always prioritizing citizens' safety, adhering to basics and principles in work processes, and promoting creative fire safety measures.
