Yangsan-si Conducts Safety Inspection of Outdoor Advertisements to Prepare for Summer Flood and Wind Damage
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Yangsan City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 30th that it will conduct safety inspections of outdoor advertisements to prevent safety accidents caused by summer wind and flood damage.
The inspection targets include rooftop signs, protruding signs, pole-mounted signs, and wall-mounted signs in areas with high vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
The city will form a joint inspection team with private experts such as the Outdoor Advertising Association to check the fixation status of outdoor advertisements, welding condition, corrosion, electrical wiring status, and any obstacles to vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
Minor issues will be corrected on-site, safety measures will be encouraged if safety problems arise, and advertisements in extremely poor condition will be immediately removed.
