On the 30th, Yoon met Lee at an event venue and had a conversation lasting about 40 minutes, including a tea time. After leaving the event, Yoon told reporters, "We exchanged greetings and agreed to meet again in the near future." Although Yoon had said the day before that "I share the same political philosophy as the People Power Party," he did not answer specific questions about his plans to join the party.
Lee also confirmed that there was communication with Yoon. Lee said, "Since we were at the same table, we basically exchanged greetings and pleasantries and agreed to meet soon," adding, "Since the official channel of the People Power Party is Representative Kwon Young-se, I expect that they will communicate first, and if we have anything to discuss separately, we will meet afterward." However, Lee's stance on the 'bus theory' remained unchanged. He emphasized, "The bus must depart on time without fail," and added, "Although the Democratic Party also discussed changing the primary schedule, the result shows that political parties must maintain their center, and the People Power Party is no different from the Democratic Party." This was a reiteration of the demand for Yoon to make a decision on joining the party.
Yoon moved to the National Assembly that day and had an introductory meeting with reporters. This was his first step as a politician. Lee Sang-rok, spokesperson for the campaign, said, "This can be considered the first schedule involving meeting with reporters," and added, "There will be many opportunities to see Yoon directly on the ground in the future."
Although the first step was taken, noise around the campaign continued on the same day. It was revealed that Lee Dong-hoon, former spokesperson who suddenly resigned after 20 days in Yoon’s campaign, was booked on charges of violating the Act on the Prevention of Corruption and the Establishment and Management of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission (Anti-Graft Act). The campaign stated, "We were not aware of the reasons for his resignation, and Mr. Lee expressed his intention to resign for personal reasons."

Yoon’s wife, Kim Geon-hee, also appeared in a media interview for the first time. In an interview with a media outlet that day, Kim denied the allegations related to her in the ‘Yoon Seok-yeol X-file’ as groundless, but this instead had the opposite effect of publicizing the suspicions. Yoon himself had refuted the X-file at a press conference the day before, calling it "an unfounded slander of unknown origin."
