TIPA Holds Meeting with Companies Designated as Excellent R&D Innovative Products
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] The Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs (TIPA) held a meeting on the 30th to listen to the difficulties faced by companies designated as innovative renewable energy product companies and to seek solutions.
The meeting was attended by small and medium-sized enterprises that developed energy-related innovative products among those who participated in the 'Energy Public Institution-Innovative Product Matching Day' hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and TIPA.
Attendees included Lee Jae-hong, Director of TIPA; Kim Hee-moon, CEO of ES Tech Co., Ltd.; Park Jung-wook, CEO of AP Energy Co., Ltd.; Lee Sung-chul, Executive Director of Hera Light Co., Ltd.; Kim Jae-dong, CEO of Tech On Co., Ltd.; and Jung Sung-dae, CEO of Reset Company Co., Ltd., who discussed difficulties such as the innovative product designation process and schedule delays, as well as ways to expand public sector sales channels.
Kim Hee-moon, CEO of ES Tech Co., Ltd., a developer of intelligent solar power generation devices, said, "The designation as an innovative product was confirmed in early June this year, and we expect an expansion of sales channels in public institutions in the future. Continuous promotion is necessary to raise public institutions' interest in innovative products, as seen in this Matching Day, and TIPA's role is important for this."

Director Lee Jae-hong stated, "It is time to actively seek solutions to public issues related to energy and environment such as ESG, Green New Deal, and carbon neutrality," adding, "I hope this will be an opportunity to improve energy efficiency through the proactive adoption of innovative products by energy public institutions."
