KT announced on the 30th that it has signed a business agreement to strengthen digital service exchange cooperation with Shinhan Life. Accordingly, the AI home training service "HowFIT," launched by Shinhan Life last March, will be provided to customers within the year through the KT Olleh TV platform.
The HowFIT service is a home training service based on AI motion recognition technology, characterized by AI analyzing the user's movements to manage the number of exercises and intensity. Moving beyond blindly following home training services, users can correct their posture themselves to improve the accuracy of movements, and can also receive non-face-to-face lessons from desired instructors through real-time live broadcasts.
Existing AI home training services were provided in the form of mobile apps, requiring viewing on the small screen of smartphones or using mirroring functions connected to separate screens such as TVs or PCs. The HowFIT service provided through the Olleh TV platform is implemented so that customers can use it more conveniently through the large screen of the TV in the living room or bedroom.
KT and Shinhan Life plan to actively cooperate to create new and valuable customer experiences through broad exchanges, starting with this HowFIT service partnership and extending to digital healthcare services and digital marketing partnerships based on media platforms.
