International Credit Rating Agency Fitch to Conduct Annual Consultation with Korea Starting from the 30th
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] The international credit rating agency Fitch's evaluation team will conduct the '2021 Annual Consultation (video conference)' from the 30th of this month to the 8th of next month. Hong Nam-ki, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance, will meet via video call with James McCormack, Head of Fitch's Sovereign Ratings, on the 5th of next month to explain the recent trends in Korea's economic recovery and the economic policy direction for the second half of the year.
On the 30th, the Ministry of Economy and Finance announced that it will hold a video conference with Fitch, an international credit rating agency, from the 30th of this month to the 8th of next month. The evaluation team will discuss sectoral trends and outlooks of the Korean economy and policy responses with the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
