On the 29th, Pulmuone Food announced that it had obtained re-certification at the ‘2021 First Half CCM Evaluation’ held at L Tower in Seocho-gu, Seoul, hosted by the Fair Trade Commission and the Korea Consumer Agency, becoming the first food company to receive CCM (Consumer-Centered Management) certification for 14 consecutive years.
The CCM certification system, first introduced in 2007, is a nationally accredited program that evaluates whether companies conduct consumer-centered management activities and continuously improve them, with certified companies re-evaluated every two years.
Since receiving its first certification in 2007, Pulmuone Food has consistently maintained CCM certification and was the only food company inducted into the ‘CCM Hall of Fame’ at the ‘CCM Excellence Awards and Certification Ceremony’ in 2019. By obtaining and maintaining CCM certification for 14 years to date, Pulmuone Food has established itself as a leading company fostering a consumer-oriented management culture.
Through the company vision ‘Global New DP5’ to be achieved by 2022, Pulmuone Food has actively reflected the value of consumer-centered management by expanding the application rate of animal welfare in its products and introducing excellent recyclable packaging materials. In this year’s CCM certification, it received high evaluations for pursuing LOHAS values through continuous system and service improvements for consumers, including ▲strengthening CCM leadership ▲establishing a stable CCM operation system ▲introducing systematic VOC (Voice of Customer) analysis and improvement processes.
Pulmuone Food’s CEO concurrently serves as the Chief Customer Officer (CCO), establishing strong CCM management and operating a dedicated CCM organization. Notably, the strengthened CCM operation system contributed significantly to obtaining re-certification. The team includes 12 professionals with specialized certifications, and all customer delight center counselors are regular employees. By subdividing tasks into telephone and online consultations, the company has secured enhanced human resources in terms of continuity and expertise for CCM execution.
