Hankook Tire Selected as 'GM Excellent Supplier' for 5 Consecutive Years
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Hankook Tire announced on the 29th that it has been selected as the 'GM Supplier of the Year' for the fifth consecutive year.
Since 1992, the Supplier of the Year Awards ceremony has been held annually to recognize outstanding suppliers among GM's global automotive parts partners who have created innovative and exceptional value.
Suppliers are selected through a comprehensive evaluation covering various aspects such as quality, logistics, and supply chain. This year, based on 2020 performance, a total of 122 companies from 16 countries worldwide were awarded.
Hankook Tire explained that it was selected as the Supplier of the Year for five consecutive years by enhancing its partnership with GM based on the highest quality competitiveness and innovative achievements grounded in top-tier technology.
