The activity was conducted as part of the ‘Healing Farmer Project’ at the Songpa Disabled Family Support Center, which opened in March, aimed at assisting the newly established center with a shortage of manpower while promoting emotional development for people with disabilities.
On the day, the volunteers turned over the soil with shovels, removed stones to prepare the field, and completed tasks such as spreading compost, making ridges, and covering with plastic sheets.
A volunteer who participated in the service said, “It was meaningful to see the garden gradually become ready for planting seedlings together with friends,” and added, “I hope those supported by the center feel vitality in their daily lives through the joy of communal work, such as growing crops directly with their families.”
