LG Electronics Accelerates Digital Transformation in Partnership with Hanyang University
[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] LG Electronics is accelerating its digital transformation through collaboration in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI) and big data by partnering with Hanyang University.
On the 28th, LG Electronics announced on the 29th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at Hanyang University in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, attended by Hanyang University President Woo-seung Kim and LG Electronics H&A Business Division Head (Vice President) Jae-cheol Ryu.
Through this agreement, LG Electronics and Hanyang University will conduct industry-academic joint research through specialized education and technical seminars in AI and big data, aligned with LG Electronics' pursuit of digital transformation (DX).
Hanyang University will offer specialized education courses in AI and big data for LG Electronics employees. LG Electronics will focus on nurturing experts in these fields to identify latent customer needs and develop products and services that address customers' pain points.
On the 28th, LG Electronics signed a business agreement in the field of artificial intelligence and big data at Hanyang University located in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, with Kim Woo-seung, the university president (right in the photo), and Ryu Jae-cheol, head of LG Electronics H&A Business Division, in attendance.
