Man Arrested for Stabbing Neighbor with a Weapon in Elevator
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] A man in his 30s who wielded a weapon at a neighbor in an apartment elevator was arrested by the police.
On the 28th, according to the police, Im Hae-ji, the judge in charge of warrants at the Seoul Southern District Court, conducted a pre-arrest suspect interrogation (warrant review) for Mr. A, who is accused of attempted murder, and issued an arrest warrant citing "risk of flight."
The day before, Mr. A is suspected of injuring a man in his 60s, a resident, by wielding a weapon inside an apartment elevator in Singil-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, in the early morning. The victim was injured in the facial area and was taken to the hospital. It is reported that his life is not in danger.
