Gwangju Gwangsan-gu Council Completes Formation of the 8th Term Second Half Budget and Accounts Committee
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Gwangsan District Council of Gwangju Metropolitan City (Chairman Lee Young-hoon) announced on the 28th that it has completed the formation of the 2nd Budget and Accounts Special Committee for the second half of the 8th term, concluding the 3rd plenary session of the 265th regular meeting.
At the 1st plenary session on the 15th, a total of 10 council members?Kuk Kang-hyun, Bae Hong-seok, Jo Sang-hyun, Park Hyun-seok, Kang Jang-won, Jo Young-im, Kim Young-gwan, Gong Byung-chul, Lee Gwi-soon, and Yoo Young-jong?were appointed as members of the Budget and Accounts Special Committee. On the 25th, the committee held a meeting and elected Lee Gwi-soon as chairperson and Gong Byung-chul as vice-chairperson.
The committee plans to review the 2021 supplementary budget proposal, the 2022 budget proposal, and the 2021 fiscal year settlement approval, among others. The term of office is from the 1st of next month until June 30 of next year.
