[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Geochang-gun held the '8th Living Policy Participation Group Gyeongsangnam-do City and County Representatives Meeting' on the 28th at Geochang Changpowon.
Hosted by the Gyeongnam Social Innovation Promotion Team, this meeting gathered about 25 participants, including representatives from participation groups of 18 cities and counties in the province, to share regional activity achievements.
They also discussed plans for activities in the second half of the year and ways to revitalize the operation of the participation group, pledging to serve as a driving force for Gyeongnam's development through active policy participation group activities.
Choi Young-ho, Deputy Governor of Geochang, said in his welcoming remarks, "Thanks to Representative Jeon Myeong-ok, who was elected as the provincial representative this year, we are grateful to hold the city and county representatives meeting in our county. We expect the ideas discovered by the participation group, based on their interest in the province, to bring significant changes that will develop the province, and we ask for their continued active activities for the residents."

Started in 2009 as the 1st Housewives Monitor Group, the Living Policy Participation Group is an organization under the Ministry of the Interior and Safety that discovers and proposes small improvements in daily life to resolve residents' inconveniences, participates in policy monitoring, and carries out sharing and volunteer activities. The 8th participation group consists of 190 members, with 8 active members from Geochang-gun.
