[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] Cyworld announced on the 28th that from 6 PM on the 5th of next month, users will be able to view photos, videos, comments, and more.
A Cyworld Z representative stated, "The 'Find ID' service, which was previously conducted via email applications, will be changed starting July 5th to an automatic retrieval method through real-name verification on the homepage."
When users visit the Cyworld homepage and log in, they can check the restored photos, videos, comments, BGM (background music) quantities, as well as the number of acorns.
According to Cyworld Z, the company has been working on restoring 17 billion photos and 150 million videos. The restoration work was carried out by FXGear, an augmented reality (AR) specialized company.
Cyworld Z is preparing to launch Cyworld's beta service in July.
Starting with the release of the song "Y" sung by singer Soyou on the 29th, the "Cyworld BGM 2021" project will also begin.
"Cyworld BGM 2021" is a project where singers favored by the MZ generation re-sing the all-time top 100 songs derived from analyzing Cyworld's BGM data from the 2000s.
