[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City in Gyeongnam announced on the 28th that it will conduct a special crackdown on illegal activities at major recreational areas within the city from July 1 to August 31 in preparation for the summer vacation season.
This crackdown will be carried out jointly with Gyeongsangnam-do.
The focus areas include illegal facilities in mountain valleys, littering in forests, illegal harvesting of forest products, and unauthorized logging. If caught, measures such as fines and legal actions will be taken in accordance with forestry-related laws.
