The Environmental Disease Prevention Project for Socially Vulnerable Groups is designed to improve the living environment of socially vulnerable groups. It targets sensitive and vulnerable households and facilities susceptible to environmental diseases, aiming to conduct safety diagnostics on indoor harmful substances and improve indoor environments.
On the 23rd, at the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, a '2021 Indoor Environment Improvement Agreement for Vulnerable Groups' was held. The project will provide indoor environment diagnostics and consulting to 1,700 sensitive and vulnerable households, including low-income families, single-parent families, disabled households, and elderly living alone. Among them, 550 households requiring urgent improvement will begin indoor environment enhancement.
HomeCC will donate eco-friendly flooring materials for this project. The flooring series to be donated, called 'Sup' (Forest), is a leading domestic eco-friendly flooring product that has ranked first in brand power for six consecutive years and first in the Korea Quality Satisfaction Index (KS-QEI) for eleven consecutive years. It has obtained major domestic eco-friendly certification marks such as the Ministry of Environment's Environmental Mark (Eco-label) and is recommended by the Korea Atopy Association, making it safe for households with atopy patients.
