[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] A technology "matchmaking" event that connects institutions that create technology with companies seeking it will be held.
Busan City (Mayor Park Hyung-joon) will host the "2021 Busan Technology Market" on the 30th at the Westin Chosun Hotel in Busan to promote technology transfer for local small and medium-sized enterprises.
This event is part of the "2021 Technology Transaction Promotion Network" project supported by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, aimed at introducing and transferring various technologies developed by universities and public research institutions nationwide to companies seeking new product development or industry conversion.
This year, a total of 10 organizations are co-hosting, including Busan Technopark, Ulsan Technopark, Busan Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration, Korea Technology Finance Corporation, Busan Research and Development Special Zone Headquarters, Korea Industrial Complex Corporation Busan Regional Headquarters, Korea Invention Promotion Association Busan Branch, Science and Technology Job Promotion Agency, Pukyong National University Graduate School of Technology Management, and Busan Union TMC (Technology Management Center) Project Group.
Busan City has pre-released about 640 technologies and technology introduction materials provided by 32 public research institutions and universities nationwide through the Busan Technopark website.
These technologies are divided into five fields: IT, medical bio, mobility, future materials, and environmental energy.
During the consultation meeting, 1:1 consultations will be held between demand companies wishing to transfer technology and technology-holding institutions such as universities and research institutes, and a 1:1 consultation desk for technology commercialization support programs (institutional support projects, export, IP, guarantees, R&D planning, etc.) will also be operated.
Demand surveys and pre-registration for participating companies (first-come, first-served) were conducted through the Busan Technopark website to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and only pre-registered applicants can receive 1:1 matched consultations.
