60s Man Arrested for Stabbing Elder Brother to Death with a Knife After an Argument
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] A man in his 60s who stabbed his older brother to death with a weapon during an argument has been arrested by the police.
The Gangseo Police Station in Seoul announced on the 27th that they have detained A (60), who is suspected of murder.
According to the police, A is accused of stabbing his older brother, the victim, in the head and shoulder with a weapon at an apartment in Gangseo-gu around 1:30 PM on the 24th.
On the day of the incident, A reportedly discovered the victim about three hours after the crime and reported it. The victim was transported to the hospital while receiving cardiopulmonary resuscitation but ultimately did not regain consciousness and died.
Based on the forensic examination of the scene and witness statements, the police identified and arrested A as the perpetrator.
During the police investigation, A reportedly stated that he committed the crime after arguing with his brother over drinking issues.
