Sejong Shared Property Usage and Lease Fee 'Reduction' Promotion
[Asia Economy (Sejong) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Sejong City is promoting the reduction of usage and lease fees for public property.
On the 26th, the city announced that following the passage of the recently proposed amendment to the Public Property Management Ordinance by the Sejong City Council, a 30% reduction will be applied when using or leasing public property for the production, exhibition, and sale of local specialties and manufactured products, and a 50% reduction will be applied when used by youth-friendly small and medium-sized enterprises.
Additionally, if disaster damage occurs during the usage or lease period of public property in accordance with the Basic Act on Disaster and Safety Management, the portion of the usage or lease fee that has increased by more than 5% compared to the previous year will be fully reduced.
In cases where the user is unable to use the public property due to the city's responsibility, the user will be allowed to choose either to extend the period by the amount of time they could not use it or to receive a full reduction of the usage or lease fee.
Those eligible for the reduction of public property usage and lease fees can visit the property management department in mid-next month after the ordinance is promulgated to submit relevant supporting documents and apply for the reduction support.
