At the 2nd plenary meeting, 13 ordinances including the "Approval of the 2020 Fiscal Year Settlement and Contingency Expense Expenditure" and the "Partial Amendment Ordinance of the Geochang County Administrative Adjustment Committee" were processed, along with 5 general agenda items such as the "Consent for Geochang County Tax Reduction to Support COVID-19 Damage."
During the 9-day administrative audit, evaluations of overall county administration tasks were conducted, with demands for improvement plans and alternatives for identified issues. A report containing 149 points of criticism was submitted to the executive branch, requiring them to report on corrections and handling results.
In particular, during the administrative audit period, the council visited the site of the Bbaeje Mountain Forest Leisure Park development project and the rural convergence complex business site to identify on-site problems and difficulties. They also engaged in in-depth discussions and problem-solving efforts regarding the issues found on-site.
Councilor Kim Hyang-ran, through a 5-minute free speech, proposed the topic "Let's resolve parking difficulties by introducing an IoT-based real-time parking sharing system," suggesting expanding support for parking sharing activation and providing real-time parking sharing services using IoT technology to Green Parking applicants to alleviate parking problems.
