Changwon City to Distribute COVID Temporary Livelihood Support to 13,747 Households Starting from the 25th
Temporary COVID-19 Livelihood Support: 17,658 Households Applied, Achieving 135% of Target
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Changwon City, Gyeongnam Province, will provide a temporary livelihood support fund totaling 6.8 billion KRW over two days, on the 25th and 28th, to 13,747 low-income crisis households struggling due to COVID-19.
The city decided to pay 500,000 KRW per household to the 13,747 households that were finally deemed eligible for the support fund.
The support fund targets low-income crisis households with a median income of 75% or less (3,657,000 KRW for a family of four) and assets of 350 million KRW or less, who have not received livelihood support.
Applications for the support fund exceeded the target of 13,000 households, with 17,658 households applying.
