'Makeup Your Life' is an educational campaign that imparts know-how to cancer patients who experience sudden changes in appearance such as skin changes and hair loss during cancer treatment, enabling them to beautify themselves. Since the first campaign in 2008, it has met with over 18,000 cancer patients to help them return to daily life through various activities. The hospital campaigns, which were held offline, have been conducted as non-face-to-face live broadcasts since 2020.
The live broadcast held on the 23rd was attended by about 800 cancer patients who applied in advance, and Amore counselors and Amorepacific education instructors delivered diverse and useful information such as makeup, skin care, and hair care for cancer patients.
In particular, this live broadcast featured a Q&A session to resolve questions about breast cancer with Dongyoung Noh, Chairman of the Korea Breast Health Foundation, who is regarded as an authority in the field of breast cancer, receiving great responses from participants.
Additionally, participants were provided with a 'Makeup Your Life Special Box' consisting of Hera products so that they could easily apply the makeup techniques learned through the campaign in their daily lives.
'Makeup Your Life' will continue as a live broadcast in the second half of the year, and anyone currently undergoing chemotherapy or within two years after cancer treatment can participate. Applications and detailed information about the campaign can be found on the Amorepacific social contribution portal site and the Makeup Your Life operation office.
