According to Jeonnam Province on the 24th, hail measuring 1 to 2 cm accompanied by rain fell on the 22nd, causing damage to 38 hectares of orchards and field crops such as apples, pears, peppers, and corn in the areas of Gokseong-eup, Godal-myeon, and Ogok-myeon. Including Gurye and Gwangyang, a total of 70 hectares were affected.
After inspecting the apple damage site, Governor Kim said, "It is unfortunate to suffer such damage during the period when the apple fruits are growing vigorously," and added, "We will conduct a thorough damage survey and prepare support measures to minimize future damage."
