Promising Thai Player Titikul: "I am the Ambassador of the Ladies Asian Tour Series~"
Atthaya Thitikul (18, photo), a promising talent in Thai women's golf, is set to promote the Ladies Asian Tour (LAT) series.
The Asia Golf Leaders Forum (AGLF) announced on the 23rd (Korean time) that Thitikul has been appointed as the first ambassador for the LAT series. Thitikul made a strong impression as the youngest winner at the 2017 European Ladies' Professional Golf Tour (LET) Thailand Championship. She claimed the title again at the 2019 LET Thailand Championship and finished as runner-up at this year's LPGA Tour Honda Thailand.

The LAT series held its first tournament of the year at the DB Group 35th Korea Women's Open, which concluded on the 20th. The series will continue with the Hana Financial Group Championship in September and the Hana Financial Group Singapore Women's Open in December. The plan is to co-host national title tournaments across Asia, including Korea, to establish an Asian women's golf series. Arrangements are also underway to host the Taiwan Women's Open and the Vietnam Championship. Future discussions are planned with Indonesia, as well as Japan, China, and the Philippines.
