Muan Fire Station Conducts Special Training for Life Rescue in Preparation for Summer Water Accidents

View original image[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Jeonnam Muan Fire Station (Chief Park Won-guk) announced on the morning of the 23rd that it conducted a special life-saving training for water accidents at the Daegokje Festival in Mulmaji Park, Muan-eup.
This training was organized to cultivate the rescue team's water accident rescue capabilities in response to the recent increase in the risk of water play safety accidents due to the operation of water leisure equipment and the expected increase in water play tourists in Muan during the summer season.
The training involved 14 participants, including fire station rescue team members, and consisted of rescue boat operation proficiency training, water safety rescue methods using life rings and throw bags, underwater search and rescue techniques, and drowning victim search and first aid.

Chief Park Won-guk said, "Water accidents require overcoming unexpected situations and rescuing quickly and safely," adding, "We will do our best through continuous training to ensure citizens have a safe summer."
