Namwon-si to Conduct 'Comprehensive Traffic Safety Facility Inspection' Until the 25th
[Namwon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Young-kwon] Namwon City, Jeonbuk (Mayor Lee Hwan-joo) announced on the 23rd that from the 23rd to the 25th, it will conduct a joint "Facility Inspection" of traffic safety facilities in the jurisdiction in cooperation with the Namwon Police Station and facility maintenance companies to prepare for the summer rainy season.
The inspection targets damaged and neglected traffic signals and auxiliary facilities, traffic safety signs, pavement markings, delineators, and non-standard (not conforming to installation standards such as laws or manuals) traffic facilities, with a focus on maintenance.
In particular, priority inspections will be conducted on traffic accident-prone areas and traffic safety facilities in child and village resident protection zones. Minor and simple facilities will be urgently repaired on-site (by facility maintenance companies), and traffic safety facilities that do not comply with road traffic facility regulations will be removed and replaced before the rainy season.
