[Photo] Naver Webtoon Artist 'Sam' Donates 10 Million Won to Gwanak-gu Youth Fund
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Jun-hee) announced that it received a donation of 10 million won to promote youth welfare from Naver Webtoon artist ‘Sam’.
On the 22nd at 5 p.m., the district held a donation ceremony in the mayor’s conference room and awarded a certificate of appreciation to webtoon artist ‘Sam’ for her contribution to promoting youth welfare.
Artist ‘Sam’ is a popular female artist in her 20s currently serializing the work “I Want to Be You for Just One Day” on Naver Webtoon. She consistently supports women’s welfare organizations and abandoned dog-related institutions, spreading positive influence.
This donation will be delivered to the Gwanak-gu Youth Counseling Welfare Center and used for counseling and case management support projects for youths facing various crisis situations such as internet addiction, running away from home, and school maladjustment.
