Muan County Council Adopts 13 Correction and Improvement Items from Administrative Audit Results

View original image[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] The Jeonnam Muan County Council (Chairman Kim Dae-hyun) announced on the 22nd that it has completed all administrative audits for 2021 conducted during the 1st regular session of the 272nd meeting held on the 18th.
This administrative audit was the last audit conducted by the 8th Muan County Council and took place over eight days from the 2nd to the 9th.
The county council explained that during this audit, they conducted a detailed review covering major policy projects and current issues across the entire county administration, while demanding correction of improper administration and presenting policy directions and alternatives by sector, achieving meaningful results.
The Administrative Audit Special Committee (Chairman Lee Jeong-woon), which oversaw the audit, adopted the administrative audit result report on the 18th, containing a total of 13 disposition items: 1 correction, 8 improvements, and 4 recommendations.
Key disposition items include thorough promotion of various public contest projects and public facility projects, strict management of subsidy support projects, devising logistics transportation measures for KTX Muan International Airport station, thorough promotion of the Haese-myeon rural public bathhouse construction project, establishment of interdepartmental cooperation systems when promoting various policy projects, strict management of official vehicles, thorough promotion of expansion work at Unam Namchon Port pier, and improvement of ship docking issues related to the Muan County Fishing Village New Deal 300 Project (Sinwol Port).
Chairman Lee Jeong-woon, in his closing remarks, said, “The audit focused on revitalizing the local economy and resolving inconveniences for residents to stabilize their livelihoods,” and added, “I hope this administrative audit served as an opportunity to reflect on and review not only the pointed issues but also the overall work.”

Meanwhile, the county council plans to finalize the administrative audit result report adopted this time at the 6th plenary session to be held on the 30th.
