Hanwha Aerospace to Hold the '6th Compliance Week' Until the 25th
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] Hanwha Aerospace announced on the 22nd that it will hold the '6th Compliance Week' event for five days from the 21st to the 25th of this month to enhance employees' compliance awareness.
This event is themed "A Compliance Journey in June, with ESG (Environment, Social, Governance)" and includes various activities such as the "Compliance & ESG Slogan Contest," "OX Quiz," and "Certification of Online Compliance Education App." Considering the COVID-19 situation, the event will be held online through the compliance support system without any offline gatherings, simultaneously taking place at all Hanwha Aerospace business sites including Changwon, Pangyo, and Asan. Employees of subsidiaries Hanwha Techwin, Hanwha Precision Machinery, and Hanwha Power Systems will also participate.
Since 2016, Hanwha Aerospace has designated one week in June every year as "Compliance Week" to conduct events related to compliance management. Especially this year, the theme of ESG and sustainable management, which has recently emerged as a key management issue, was added. Hanwha Aerospace established a compliance organization in 2011 and declared compliance management principles, and since then has conducted programs such as company-wide tailored education, on-site compliance consulting, Compliance Week, and Compliance Practitioner's Day annually.
