Gopizza Hires Park Hyunsang, Former Eland Eats Executive Director
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] GoPizza announced on the 22nd that it has recruited Park Hyunsang, former Operations Director at E-Land Eats.
Through this, GoPizza plans to accelerate its overall business expansion and global market penetration.
Director Park joined the E-Land Group HR team in 2011 and moved to the Food Service Business Division HR team within the same year. From 2017, he served as the head overseeing the Italian dining brand Rimini, pizza buffet brand Pizza Mall, and cafe franchise brand The Cafe, strategically leading E-Land Group's major food service businesses.
Director Park will apply his extensive experience in operating various food service franchises to GoPizza, carrying out marketing activities aimed at expanding GoPizza's market share in the domestic single-serving pizza market. Additionally, based on his experience in the HR team of a large organization, he plans to actively lead talent management at GoPizza and foster mutual growth and communication with franchise owners nationwide.
Director Park said, “I was impressed by GoPizza’s culture of constantly striving and never compromising on taste, aiming to be the best food tech company,” adding, “As the leader in the single-serving pizza market, I want to contribute to making GoPizza a brand that satisfies customers not only in Korea but worldwide.”

Meanwhile, GoPizza is the only food service company selected as a ‘Baby Unicorn’ by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups in 2020 and recognized as a ‘Good Franchise’ by the Fair Trade Commission. Since its founding in 2017, GoPizza has attracted a total investment of 18 billion KRW, and last month secured 11 billion KRW in Series B funding from five companies including Woori Bank.
