Dongsin University-Gwangyang Ieum School Join Hands to Support At-Risk Youth
Agreement on Department Experience and Educational Counseling
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Dongshin University and Gwangyang Ieum School have joined hands to support at-risk youth.
The Department of Counseling Psychology at Dongshin University (Department Head Professor Park Eunmin) announced on the 21st that it has signed a business agreement with Ieum School in Gwangyang City, Jeonnam, to support the healthy growth of at-risk youth in the region.
According to the agreement, the institutions will promote ▲ education and group counseling to prevent problems among at-risk youth ▲ psychological, emotional, and other support for the healthy growth of at-risk youth ▲ psychological and emotional support for out-of-school youth and departmental experience support for career exploration.
The Department of Counseling Psychology at Dongshin University plans to continue signing business agreements with related local organizations and operate various practical training programs.

Park Eunmin, head of the Department of Counseling Psychology at Dongshin University, said, “We will establish an organic cooperation system among schools, child and youth counseling institutions, and Wee Schools to support the healthy growth of at-risk youth in the region.”
