Incentives Expanded to Special Promotion from This Year to Encourage Proactive Administration

The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Seok-jun) announced on the 21st that it will select the "Outstanding Public Officials for Active Administration in the First Half of 2021" based on the "Busan Metropolitan Office of Education Local Public Officials Active Administration Operation Ordinance."
The outstanding public officials to be selected this time include education specialists, teachers, local public officials, and educational public employees, with 1 to 2 persons each.
The selection criteria are ▲ those who have achieved results through proactive work promotion ▲ those who have pursued policies creatively and challengingly and strived to achieve results ▲ those who serve as role models to affiliated faculty and staff through an active work attitude.
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education will receive recommendations from affiliated institutions and schools until July 16, and also accept recommendations from students, parents, and citizens through the city education office website.
The outstanding public officials will be finally selected through deliberation and resolution by the "Active Administration Committee" and will be given personnel incentives.
In particular, from this year, in addition to the existing incentives (special promotion, highest grade of performance bonus, priority selection for educational training, etc.), the incentives will be expanded to include special promotions to encourage active administration among affiliated faculty and staff.
