Legoland Korea Resort Partners with KB Kookmin Card
Legoland Korea Resort has signed a business agreement for a marketing partnership with KB Kookmin Card.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Legoland Korea Resort, preparing to open as the country's first global theme park, announced on the 21st that it has signed a business agreement for a marketing partnership with KB Kookmin Card.
Based on this agreement, the two companies plan to collaborate on the development of a private label credit card (PLCC), as well as the sales and promotion of Legoland theme park tickets and hotel accommodations.
KB Kookmin Card, the first official marketing partner of Legoland Korea Resort, will be the exclusive partner in the card sector, offering up to 20% discount benefits on ticket purchases such as theme park admission tickets for all KB Kookmin Card members. Additionally, using the KB Kookmin Card platform, various convenience services related to mobile ticket purchase and payment, as well as facility usage within the resort, are expected to be introduced.
Kim Young-pil, President of Legoland Korea Resort, said, “We plan to provide richer and more diverse events and benefits based on KB Kookmin Card’s marketing platform and expertise. We will actively continue marketing partnerships with more leading domestic companies in the industry and firmly prepare for a successful opening in spring next year.”

Legoland Korea Resort is being built on Jungdo Island in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, making it the first Legoland constructed on an island. Construction is underway with the goal of opening in the first half of 2022, and the current progress rate has exceeded 90%.
