Korea Midland Power Donates 200 Eco-Friendly Food Packages to Haman County
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Korea Midland Power visited the county office on the 17th and donated 200 sets of eco-friendly food packages they directly produced to Haman County.
Korea Midland Power purchased local agricultural products with 10 million won worth of Haman Love Gift Certificates, directly assembled the food packages, and delivered them contactlessly to 200 vulnerable households.
This activity by Korea Midland Power had a twofold effect of activating corporate social contribution activities and promoting consumption of local farm products through the use of local food.
Kim Hyun-pyo, head of Korea Midland Power, stated, "Although there are many difficulties due to COVID-19, if we overcome them together, we can prevail," and added, "We will continue to practice sharing not only with vulnerable groups but also with various socially disadvantaged people."

Meanwhile, Korea Midland Power signed an investment agreement for a natural gas power plant with the county on May 12 and is promoting the power plant construction project aiming for completion in 2025.
