View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] Korea Citibank announced on the 18th that it has established an ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Council and held its first meeting.
The council is composed of 25 executives and employees, including Yoo Myung-soon, President of Korea Citibank. It aims to raise employees' awareness of ESG and continuously promote practical activities. Another goal is to strengthen customer relationships by providing content and products that meet customer needs.

President Yoo emphasized, "ESG is not a passing trend but an essential survival strategy for companies," adding, "Through the council, Korea Citibank will build strong trust not only with customers but also with local communities to achieve sustainable growth."
