BYN Black Yak to Manufacture Products Using PET Bottles from Seocho-gu

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] BYN Black Yak announced on the 18th that it has signed a business agreement with Seocho-gu to expand the transparent PET bottle recycling activation project.
Through this agreement, Black Yak will recycle PET bottles separately collected in Seocho-gu to expand the production of its eco-friendly material, 'Plustic.' To this end, Seocho-gu plans to secure high-quality transparent PET bottles by installing PET bottle collection bins in schools and apartment complexes within the district and deliver them to Black Yak, while prioritizing the purchase of eco-friendly products made with Plustic material.

Chairman Kang Tae-seon said, "With this agreement with Seocho-gu, eight autonomous districts in Seoul are currently supporting Black Yak's domestic PET bottle resource circulation system," adding, "We will continue to increase cooperation with local governments nationwide, including Seoul, and establish various measures to encourage voluntary participation from consumers to ensure that this system operates sustainably and properly."
