National Tax Service Creates and Publishes Capital Gains Tax Guide Map for Each Real Estate Policy
[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyunjung] The government has created and released a guide map that allows verification of the criteria and conditions for applying capital gains tax on housing according to real estate measures over the past four years.
On the 18th, the National Tax Service announced that it had created the '2017-2020 Capital Gains Tax Legal Application Guide Map by Real Estate Measures' and posted it on its website and the taxpayer online service Hometax. The guide map is an informative material summarized in a chart format to allow users to grasp at a glance the major amendments and application timings by measure on three topics related to capital gains tax: ▲tax rates and long-term holding special deductions ▲non-taxation conditions for one household one house ▲long-term rental housing. It also includes capital gains tax reform details contained in the 8.2 Measure (2017), 9.13 Measure (2018), 2.12 Enforcement Decree Amendment (2019), 12.16 Measure (2019), and 7.10 Measure (2020).
