According to Mokpo Coast Guard Station (Chief Im Jae-su) on the 17th, at 5:04 PM on the 16th, a report was received that resident A (female, in her 70s) suddenly collapsed in a vinyl greenhouse on Byeongpungdo Island, Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do, with impaired consciousness and difficulty moving.
The Coast Guard dispatched a coastal rescue boat from the local police substation, boarded the patient and her guardian at Byeongpungdo Port, and promptly transported them. They arrived at Songdo Port, Jido-eup, Sinan-gun, at around 5:30 PM and handed them over to the waiting 119 ambulance team.
With the help of the Coast Guard, A was urgently transported to a hospital located in Sinan-gun and is currently receiving treatment.
