Netmarble Partners with Marvel Again... Aiming for Global Box Office Success
Netmarble's "The Second Country: Cross World" is enjoying global success, and attention is focused on whether the upcoming new title "Marvel Future Revolution," scheduled for release in the second half of the year, can continue this positive trend.
According to Netmarble on the 18th, "Marvel Future Revolution" is the first mobile action role-playing game (RPG) based on the Marvel intellectual property (IP), with its video first revealed last year at the North American game show "PAX East." Netmarble plans to hold a media showcase on the 29th to disclose detailed information.
"Marvel Future Revolution" is being developed by Netmarble Monster. The development team, which gained expertise through "Marvel Future Fight," enjoyed by over 120 million players worldwide, is collaborating with Marvel for the second time. The game is being produced in close cooperation with renowned writer Mark Sumerak, who wrote Marvel Comics such as "Spider-Man" and "Avengers," and features a story about the superhero group "Omega Flight" protecting a world endangered by the "Convergence."
Netmarble is also actively developing "Seven Knights Revolution." This game expands on Netmarble's flagship IP "Seven Knights" and tells the story of a knight order established to save a chaotic world after the disappearance of the Seven Knights heroes. The game aims for a simultaneous release in South Korea and Japan in the second half of this year.
