30s Woman Arrested for Assaulting Seoul High Court Employee
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Dong-hoon] A woman in her 30s who assaulted a court employee out of dissatisfaction with civil complaint handling at the Seoul High Court has been detained.
Seo Bo-min, the chief judge in charge of warrants at the Seoul Central District Court, conducted a pre-arrest detention hearing (warrant substantive examination) for the woman in her 30s, identified as A, on the 16th and issued an arrest warrant. Judge Seo stated the reason for issuing the warrant was "concern over the risk of flight."
A is accused of assaulting a court security management team employee around 2 p.m. on the 14th by hitting the employee's face and arm and stabbing the chest with a pen. The assaulted employee reportedly sustained only minor scratches.
