Yangsan City Choir to Hold 'Healing Concert' on July 7 and 8
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] The Yangsan City Choir in Gyeongnam announced on the 16th that it will hold the 2021 regular concert on the evenings of July 7-8 at the Yangsan Culture and Arts Center Grand Performance Hall under the theme of a "New Beginning" message and a "Healing Concert."
This concert is composed of a total of four parts. Part 1 begins with world-famous choral pieces including a cappella (unaccompanied) choir songs and individual choir performances, followed by Part 2, which features choral songs that provide comfort and peace to citizens.
Part 3 features a special performance by the percussion group Jamstick, presenting solo and ensemble performances of "Majung" (a Korean art song) and "The Prayer." Part 4 consists of lively choral songs supporting the citizens, including "Jolene," "Don’t Stop Me Now," and a medley of 1980s Korean pop songs.
This performance is a free concert open to all Yangsan citizens. Same-day on-site reservations are not available, and advance reservations will be accepted only through the Yangsan Culture and Arts Center website starting at 10 a.m. on the 21st.
