The farm representatives in the project district will cooperate to ensure that the water supply facilities are installed accurately and safely.
The third phase of the foundation project for the specialized persimmon production complex was selected in October after applying for national funding in March 2020, covering 139 hectares of persimmon orchards in Bonggok-ri, Dong-eup, and Oesan-ri, Buk-myeon, with a budget of 6.5 billion KRW.
The basic plan approval is currently pending, and after the business agreement, detailed construction designs will proceed with the goal of completion by the end of next year.
The city submitted a national funding application last March aiming to install water supply facilities in a total of 761 hectares of persimmon orchards. The results of the project selection through evaluations such as on-site investigations are expected to be announced in October.
