Gyeonggi-do Supports National Certification for 'Livestock Odor Reduction Agent'
20 Companies Producing Odor Reduction Agents in the Province
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Gyeonggi-do supports national certification for livestock odor reduction products developed using new technology.
The province announced on the 16th, "This year, we are promoting the new technology certification support project for livestock odor reduction agents and recruiting participants for the project."
A total of 20 companies will be selected, and up to 5 million KRW will be supported to cover the costs of national certification for livestock odor reduction products.
Costs will be supported once the business operator directly applies for new technology certification and technical verification at the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute and completes the procedures.
The support target is companies with headquarters or factories in Gyeonggi-do as of the announcement date (June 14) that develop and utilize new technologies in the odor reduction field (such as microbial agents and deodorants) to produce products.

An official from the province said, "We will promote active development, certification, and application of new technologies related to livestock odor reduction to resolve regional conflicts caused by odor generation and create a clean livestock environment."
