Ministry of Unification's 'Unification Walk' Event Commemorating the 21st Anniversary of the June 15 Joint Declaration
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] The Ministry of Unification announced that it will hold the 'DMZ Peace Trail Unification Walk' event for 12 nights and 13 days from the 15th to the 27th to commemorate the 21st anniversary of the June 15th North-South Joint Declaration.
On the morning of the same day, the Ministry of Unification held a launching ceremony in front of the Unification Observatory in Goseong, Gangwon Province, attended by Baek Jun-gi, Director of the National Unification Education Institute, and about 70 participants.
The participants plan to walk approximately 290 km along the border area from Goseong, Gangwon Province to Paju, Gyeonggi Province, reaffirming their commitment to peace and unification.
